A clip of Derek Redmond in the 400-meter event in the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, who finished with the help of his dad when a hamstring injury seemed to completely dash his hopes of finishing the race unassisted. Now it’s a VISA commercial, but it remains one of my favorite Olympic moments, even before I had a kid of my own.
Thanks to Fatherhood Matters for the post.
